Counselling Placements
We offer counselling placements supporting our carers with counselling sessions through the emotional wellbeing service.
Applying For A Placement
To apply for a placement we require that you have undertaken at least one year of theoretical and practical counselling study and currently be enrolled on a Diploma Course or higher from a recognised school of counselling with ethics aligned to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Some experience or training on issues affecting carers and former carers is desirable but not essential. We have an annual intake for new counsellors usually around Autumn and will take applications throughout the year. Places are limited so please apply early.
All placements are done remotely via Microsoft Teams or telephone, and not face to face.
To find out more read the role description and complete the application form and Rehabilitation of Offenders Act forms below and return to andrew.watson@cswebdev.blueboxonline.co.uk
