Eid Mubarak to all carers and colleagues celebrating Eid al-Fitr!
Ramadan is a time for self-reflection for many Muslims, who observe the fasts for up to 30 days. Those partaking abstain from food and drink between the hours of sunrise and sunset. At the end of the fasting period, comes the Eid-al-Fitr celebration (festival of breaking the fast).
We had the pleasure to support local charity Gems of Faith, who hosted a wonderful Iftar (a meal held during Ramadan at sunset) event in Crawley at the start of Ramadan for the local community, including carers and their families as part of our Making Carers Count project.
